Lifting My Spirits

I love the way I feel when I laugh.I like the idea of having a blog to post all the different ways I make myself feel uplifted.Uplifting to me is when I feel most alive,vibrant,aligned with "GOD" in my body.Another way to explain this phenomenia is with the word enthusiasm or is it peace,hmmm???Well, it's when I feel happy.That's a simple description. What a great idea!!! I think I'll start an upliftment movement!A show that uses technology to inspire and uplift the human spirit,And the uplifting begins with me!! HAHAHA. If I uplift myself ,do the people and things around me become uplifted?How fun is that? What is uplifting to me is quite different every day..

Some days its watching a funny YOU TUBE video,other days its chanting a devotional song or listening to James Taylor and singing along.Somedays it's laughing with my son or my friends on the phone or in person and often it's taking pictures of flowers along the path of my day and...Oh my gosh..and i feel uplifted when I lay in my Hammock.Oh my God..I love my Hammock.hahaha.The other day I felt worn out and Fluish...I bundled up and went outside and hopped into my hammock.AAHHHHHH.This was the most nurturing and uplifting thing I could have done for myself in that moment.I settled in.... swung my leg over the side to give myself a little push .....and I was off! Rocking in the breeze and sun.aahhhhh I felt like Divine Mother was cradling me and rocking me and telling me that it's all going to be ok..everything, in every way, all the time.It's all ok. :)My friend Gail keeps reminding me that I have already won the lottery!!! Now That's Uplifting!!!!Thanks Gail :)My son,Rob is uplifting to me.My friends and family are uplifting.I love watching and hearing people laugh.I love the pure joy of laughter.

This is a surprise to me..I could go on and on and on about all the things that uplift me. I never realized how much ,in my everyday life, uplifts me. This is an AHHA moment. What I focus on matters and what I focus on seems to create more and more. Well..rather than going on and on I have begun my adventure to chronicle some of the ways that I uplift my spirit...I have begun...

and now I'm going to post my first video.hmmm how does this work??HAHAHAH I have no idea.hahahahahah :) Keep Smiling ! D
